Delta Jubilee June, 09

So last year, while Raygan-Elise was in the NICU, Reese went to spend time with Anna and Shaun Leigh in Clarksdale. They took him to the Clarksdale Delta Jubilee. Well, as summer came around, Reese (of course) remembered and wanted to go again. I have not been in probably 10 years. So off we went for a trip to Clarksdale. We went to family night and took Raygan-Elise and John Aedon. We had a ball until it started pouring down so we went to eat mexican. Raygan-Elise slept for about 3 hours and we kept checking her. She was so exhausted from swimming earlier in day. Anna and I took Reese by himself the next night, and I even rode the rides with him!! Reese loves all the rides, especially the big ones. He wants to ride them all- we let him go up to them so the man turns him away b/c he will never believe us that he is too short. Somehow he is tall enough to ride the one that goes about 10 stories straight up and then just drops you, and he loves it!

Swim Day at La Leighs on June 2!!

We took Raygan-Elise swimming for first time at La Leigh's in Cdale with all the cousins there. She loves the water. I even let go of her several times. She didn't swim like I've heard babies do but she didn't sink either! Kind of in-between. One time she flipped over!! We had a great fun day!! As you can tell, by the end, she was exhausted!
